A BBC National Chanel TV team paid a visit to Borovets

A BBC National Chanel TV team paid a visit to Borovets today for a few hours shooting in the resort and in Markudjik ski area. This will be a short documentary about Mr.Mat Pigeon - British businessman and consul agent at the British Embassy assigned for Samokov region and the city. It tells about the life of a Briton in Bulgaria and his social environment. At the end of the shooting day BBC's reporter Tom Eslement expressed his gratitude to Borosport team and revealed his feelings about the resort:

Tom Eslement, BBC's reported– “I am extremely impressed by Borovets! It is my first time here and I am really happy to be in such a beautiful place. In the last few days I have been watching pictures of the resort so as to prepare my assignment and get to know the place but the real thing is even better. I have done a lot of travelling around the world but Markudjik area along with the nearby peaks in Rila and Stara Planina mountains are ranking in my top 3 most beautiful places I have been to. I promise I will bring my family for vacation any time soon. We also promise that all that beauty will be seen by BBC's audience. I believe that many British people will be impressed by the landscape and the ski conditions offered by the resort. People are very hospitable, too. I am impressed! I wish to thank Borosport for the absolute cooperation they gave us for the entire shooting day."

The documentary will be aired on May 10th on BBC National Chanel and before its premiere other reports on Borovets and Mat Pigeon's daily life in Bulgaria will be aired.
